CAN WE OPEN RE-OPEN OUR HEART?
It’s not easy to be vulnerable by opening our hearts to other people, especially when we have been hurt in the past.
Abuses and disappointments in childhood, in youth, or as adults cause people to lose trust in others.
This can cause us to have a very lonely life without significant relational ties.
But the truth is that we were not created to live in solitude, we are designed to live in relation to other people, in order to be happier when we have deep bonds of trust.
Therefore, we need to learn to heal and recover the ability to connect with others but being careful that those connections are with the right people, with healthy people, with individuals who are assigned by God to be part of our lives and help each other mutually.
How do we do it?
To be continued ….
Think about it:
Is it harder for you to open your heart to others?
Why do you think it is important and healthy to relate to other people?
Who do you think is assigned by God to help you?
