STAGES
Stages tells me about segments, pieces, stretches, distance, etc.
God told Abraham to make a long journey and it strikes me that he did not make the journey in one effort, but by STAGES.
I think that life can also be compared to a long journey.
We live many years, we go through different territories, we cross various emotional zones, and we do projects that can’t be done in one day, but are done by segments, by sections.
For example, creating our children is a long-term project. We weren’t born knowing how to be parents, we learned to be parents little by little, by stages.
In marriage we also travel a great distance that we have to divide into segments. We don’t start out knowing how to be an excellent husband, a perfect father, we don’t master the art of communication, etc.
A large company isn’t built in a month, it’s done by segments. A doctor doesn’t graduate from college in a year. A lawyer doesn’t have his master’s degree in law in a year. A professional athlete does not start in a stadium filled with 70,000 people.
So, I have learned that in the journey of life we have to move by STAGES, because it is not a hundred-meter race, but rather, it’s a very long journey and we must learn to travel in segments, with sustainable rhythms.
We rested and traveled by stages; We rest and return to travel another stage.
Think about it:
What stage of life are you in?
Have you taken the time to rest between stages?
What area do you need to focus on and work harder?
