How to create deep bonds?

HOW TO CREATE DEEP BONDS?

For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.  (Ephesians 2:14 NLT)

When we are united in Christ, we manage to create deep bonds, because we stop seeing the superficial differences that we have as human beings, and we unite in a vision greater than ourselves.
When we are united by the vision of Christ, everything else becomes second such as:
Personal likes.
Preferences in clothing.
The different tastes in food.
The cultural differences.
Political inclines.

All of this comes second when we see that Jesus didn’t die on the cross for a select group of people, but for all the different cultures.

In Christ there are bonds of peace:

“He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.” Eph. 2:15 NLT

In Christ there are reconciliation bonds:

Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death. Eph. 2:16 NLT

Bonds are formed when we are united by a vision that is greater than ourselves.

Think about it:
What changed within you regarding your relationships with people as you became united in Christ?
In what way has Christ’s vision helped you form bonds with the family of Christ?
What people have you formed strong bonds with that are completely different than you?
