LIGHT
Part 2
Jesus is my light.
Your word is a lamp for my feet. (Psalm. 119:105)
When I think of light, I think of security, clarity, trust, and purity. Yesterday we learned about security and today we will learn about the word clarity.
2. Clarity.
Without light, I can’t read an important document. Someone may have given me a check of ten million dollars, but if I don’t have light to read it I will never know the value of what I have in my hands.
Without light I can’t drive 65 miles per hour on a dark road full of curves and potholes.
Without light I can’t see ahead. I can’t see my future.
A pilot at night or in heavy rain needs to see the runway ;ights to see clearly where to safely land the plane with hundreds of lives on board.
The light of Christ allows us to see clearly the intentions of our hearts, the light of Christ allows us to see clearly the purpose of which we were born.
Light helps us see into the future clearly.
To be continued…
Think about it:
In what area do you lack clarity in your life?
Are you clear about what God’s purpose is for you?
