Light

LIGHT

I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. (John 12:46 NIV)

When I think of light, I think of security, clarity, trust, and purity.
1. Security.
Example, I remember one day in the temple when we were doing a Christmas theatrical performance, we turned off the lights to switch to a new scene, and I quickly walked on the side to get off the platform, and suddenly, without warning, I was stopped and I felt an intense pain in my knee. It had collided with a heavy wooden table that was left in the way. Ouch! I painfully remembered how important light is!
When I get up at night and walk in the dark, I’m in danger of tripping over something or breaking a finger, or some other bone.
The light allows me to move safely through the world full of darkness and not to encounter the spiritual and moral dangers of this age. Jesus is my light.

I have come into the world as a light…. (Juan 12:46 NIV)
Your word is a lamp for my feet. (Psalm. 119:105)

To be continued…

Think about it:
Why do you believe that Jesus Christ is the light?
Have you allowed Jesus to be your light and security?
Why do you think it is important that Jesus lights your way?
