THE APPROVAL
(John 12:43 NLT)
Algunas personas tendemos a querer agradar a los demás y debemos tener cuidado de que no nos pase esto.
(Juan 12:43 NLT)
It’s one thing to want to be nice and another to try to please everyone.
We must have our own convictions.
We must have firm values.
We must be aligned with God in our convictions, even when that seems unpopular, even when it goes against the opinion of the Godless world.
Lord, I want with all my heart to please you.
Everything I do is for you and through you.
What interests me more than anything is doing your will (Psalms 40:8) regardless of the approval of the majority, but having your approval.
(Juan 12:43 NLT)
Think about it:
Do you tend to want the approval of others in everything you do?
Do you stand firm with your convictions in the face of the opinions of others?
Why do you think God’s approval is more important than people’s?
