WHEN I HESITATE
When Lot still hesitated, the angels seized his hand and the hands of his wife and two daughters and rushed them to safety outside the city, for the Lord was merciful . (Genesis 19:16 NLT)
As I read this passage, I reflect and think about how many times God has given me instructions and I have delayed because I hesitated in making decisions.
I think there have been times when God has taken my hand when he has seen me falter and has helped me move forward.
When Lot still hesitated, the angels seized his hand and the hands of his wife and two daughters and rushed them to safety outside the city, for the Lord was merciful. (Génesis 19:16 NLT)
Maybe I haven’t even realized it, but God has surely helped me when he saw me waver.
Why does God help me when I hesitate? Why does he not leave me on my own? Because of His great mercy!
…rushed them to safety outside the city, for the Lord was merciful. (Génesis 19:16 NLT)
Thank you God!
Think about it:
In what situations have you been left hesitating?
In what situations do you think that God, seeing you hesitate, somehow took you by the hand to help you?
Have you been able to experience God’s mercy in your life?
