Determination – Part 2

DETERMINATION PART 2

“Remember, O Lord, how I have always been faithful to you and have served you single- mindedly, always doing what pleases you.’ Then he broke down and wept bitterly. ( 2 Kings 20:3 NLT)

I talked yesterday in my devotional about how I want to be able to say this with authority, with the same authority that King Hezekiah said it with regarding faithfulness, and also regarding:
2.Service.
Lord, Dinora and I have served you with determination.

<<Remember, O Lord, how I… have served you single-mindedly…(2 Kings 20:3 NLT)

We have served with a level of sacrifice that most have not.
We have served in the good times and not so good times. We have served with little or a lot of pay and also when there was no pay.
We have served when there have been problems, when there have been betrayals, disappointments, sickness or coronavirus.
We have served with determination!
Help me Lord, give me the health and strength to be able to reach the end of my days serving you with determination.

3.Doing your will.

“Remember, O Lord, how I have always been faithful to you and have served you single- mindedly, always doing what pleases you.’ Then he broke down and wept bitterly. ( 2 Kings 20:3 NLT)

Lord, I have been pleased to do your will since the day I was converted, as Psalm 40: 8, in doing your will.
There is nothing that causes a major satisfaction in knowing that I am doing your will.
Lord, help me to be able to reach the end, being able to say with authority the same thing that King Hezekiah was able to say to you.

“Remember, O Lord, how I have always been faithful to you and have served you single- mindedly, always doing what pleases you.’ Then he broke down and wept bitterly. ( 2 Kings 20:3 NLT)

Think about it:
What does it mean to you to serve God with purpose, and how can you apply this in your daily life?
How can you maintain your commitment to serve God, no matter what circumstances or challenges you face?
What steps can you take daily to ensure that you are doing what pleases God and fulfilling His will?
