Transformed to Bless

Transformed to Bless

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” Genesis 50:20 (NKJV)

God has the power to take our difficulties and turn them into opportunities to bless others. Through our trials, we can become channels of His grace. Let’s reflect on these points:

  1. God uses for good what was meant for evil:
Even when others intend to harm us, God can redeem our circumstances. Trials and challenges are not the end of the story, but the beginning of a process where God transforms what was meant for evil into something that serves His purpose.
  2. Our trials prepare us to bless others:
The difficulties we face equip us to empathize with and help others. By overcoming our own trials, God equips us to be a source of hope and support for those who are going through similar situations.
  3. Blessing others reflects the character of Christ:
Jesus teaches us to bless even those who have wronged us. Instead of seeking revenge or harboring resentment, we are called to be instruments of love and grace. Blessing our enemies demonstrates the power of forgiveness and God’s transformation in our lives.
  4. God blesses us so we can be a blessing to others:
The blessings we receive are not just for us. God blesses us so that we can extend that blessing to those around us. Our lives can become a living testimony of God’s goodness and love toward others.
“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.” Genesis 50:20 (NKJV)

Think About It:

  1. How have you seen God transform difficult situations into opportunities to bless others?
  2. Are there people who have wronged you that you could bless instead of holding onto resentment?
  3. What steps can you take today to be a source of blessing in someone’s life, even in the midst of your own trials?
