Let Us Fight Bravely for Our City
“Be of good courage, and let us be strong for our people and for the cities of our God. And may the Lord do what is good in His sight.”
God calls us to be courageous and to fight purposefully for the city where He has placed us. In our case, Las Vegas is the mission field He has assigned to us—a place in need of spiritual transformation, where many have yet to experience the love and grace of Jesus. Our calling is not only to face challenges but to do so with the character of Christ. 1 Chronicles 19:13 (NKJV)

How to Fight for Our City:
- Fight with passion.
- We must have genuine fervor for the mission God has given us. Passion motivates us not to give up and to invest our time, energy, and resources in advancing God’s Kingdom.
- Fight with compassion.
- Jesus had compassion for the multitudes. Likewise, we must look at our city with a sensitive heart, ready to help those in need and show them God’s love.
- Fight with love.
- Love is the most powerful weapon we have. Through love, we can win hearts for Christ and reflect the essence of our God.
- Fight with empathy.
- Understanding the struggles of the people in our city allows us to approach them with humility and grace, showing that we care about their spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Fight with vision.
- It’s not just about the present but about working with an eye toward the future God desires for our city—a community transformed by His love and power.
