God is just

GOD IS JUST

“And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way” (Matthew 20:4 KJV).

Some people set conditions with God before serving Him (they ask Him for something in return) but, there are others who simply trust the Lord and they know He will be fair with them.

Those who set conditions on God say: “I will serve you if you fix the immigration problems I have.” “I will give my offering if you promise me a harvest multiplied to a hundred and one percent.” “I will serve at my church if they promise to make me a pastor.” Why do we do this?

Others believe in God without any conditions. They believe He is just. This results in more blessings than expected. When you place conditions on God, the conditions become limits that do not allow Him to bless your life abundantly like He promised.

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NIV)

Everything you do for the Lord and His church is something that He records in His heart. Your service, investment of time, money, advice, etc. is not in vain. On the contrary, your service here on earth is what is accumulating the true riches in heaven.

“God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” (Hebrews 6:10)

Do not get tired of doing what is good, because sooner or later you will harvest everything you have sown. Do not become discouraged or overwhelmed by the problems that go on in your life or in the lives of your loved ones. God will take care of you and all your needs, just as He has done for His church.

Continue placing God first and you will see how everything you ask Him in prayer will be added to your life. God is just and He has not forgotten the promises He has made you.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)

Think About It:

In which areas have you set conditions on God?
What are you doing here on earth to accumulate the true riches in heaven?
