Put God first in all you do

PUT GOD FIRST IN ALL YOU DO

“The Ark of God remained there in Obed-edom’s house for three months, and the Lord blessed the household of Obed-edom and everything he owned” (1 Chronicles 13:14 NLT).

Wherever you decide to put God first in your life, that is what will be prospered. Wherever you do not have God’s blessing, you will experience failure.

If God is in your marriage, most likely you will have success. If God is in your business, then it will be blessed. If you have put God in your children’s heart and you have taught them that the Lord is real and that He isn’t just a tradition or legend, then they will blessed.

Sometimes we work and strive alone, trusting in our own abilities, gifts, influence, intelligence, and political connections, but it still seems as if we do not progress, though it has been years. Putting God first in everything you do will bring prosperity.

“Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good” (Psalm 127:1 NLT).

We are nothing without God, and we can do nothing without Him. Therefore, because He loves us He calls us, and because He calls us, He blesses us, and because God blesses us, we have no other alternative than to be fruitful. Choose to put God first in everything you do and you will be prospered and fruitful in everything you launch.

Think about it:

What are you struggling with?

What project are you striving to do in your own strength, forgetting to make God a part of it?
