We are only messengers

WE ARE ONLY MESSENGERS

“If I announce that some wicked people are sure to die and you fail to tell them to change their ways, then they will die in their sins, and I will hold you responsible for their deaths.  But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself” (Ezekiel 33:8-9 NLT).

We are not responsible for what people do with the information we give them. We are only responsible for passing on the message.

When I use to go to school, I saw how all the students received the same information, the same classes with the same teachers, yet, oddly enough, some students took advantage of the information and became professionals and successful people, while others ignored what they learned at school and would only go to waste their time. Therefore, they did not do anything significant in life.

Again, we are not responsible for the decisions people make with the information we give them, we are only messengers. Let’s continue to announce the message of hope and restoration for families to all people at the Houses of Peace that take place in apartments, houses, schools, restaurants and parks. Tell your story and tell about how good God has been with you. The Lord will do the rest.

Let’s do our part in speaking to others about Christ, let’s do our part in transmitting God’s love to all those who surround us, and the Holy Spirit will do His part. You and I are only a voice in our society that announce the good news, but God is the One who does the supernatural. Do not get tired of preaching through your example, because many people will come to know God through your example.

“But if you warn them to repent and they don’t repent, they will die in their sins, but you will have saved yourself” (Ezekiel 33:9 NLT).

Think about it:

Who can you share the message of hope with today?
Who have you already spoken to about Christ that you need to pray for?
