Royal attitude and aptitude

ROYAL ATTITUDE AND APTITUDE

“The king talked with them, and no one impressed him as much as Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. So they entered the royal service. Whenever the king consulted them in any matter requiring wisdom and balanced judgment, he found them ten times more capable than any of the magicians and enchanters in his entire kingdom” (Daniel 1:19-20 NLT).

There are places that require a “royal service” standard, and in order to have that, people are required to have a “royal attitude and aptitude”.

When the king talked with Daniel and his Friends he realized that they were ten times more capable than the regular workers in the palace. A relevant example are the employees that work in the White House. These people are the best workers, they stand out, and they have refused to be average.

Today I want to share two things you need that will help you work in royal places.

1. Attitude.
We need to be wise people who never stop being teachable. We need to have the attitude the champions of faith had. These champions never gave up and they called the things that were not as if they are. They were people who had the attitude of a winner, they didn’t complain nor lament, they only made things happen.

2. Aptitude.
We must be people who are trained, prepared, and educated. We have to be the kind of people who work while others sleep, who study while others go to the movie theater, who serve their peers while others demand to be served.

There is a price that we all need to pay to transform our attitude and to obtain aptitude. I don’t know where you want to get to in the long-run, but I know that to enter those royal places, whether it is serving in the Church or serving in the White House, you will need a good attitude and aptitude.

There is nothing that you cannot do, limits are non-existent. You are a Daniel for your society and you have the potential to bring a positive change to your city and country. Don’t ever doubt this! Everything that you do has an effect in your community, you are a very valuable person. Believe it! You have the capacity to make the difference in your city through God’s grace and favor.

Think about it:

What kind of attitude do you have?
What are you doing to improve your aptitude?
