CELEBRATE THE GOOD THINGS
This verse talks about making time to celebrate, especially to celebrate the victories you have had in life.
Many times, people tend to clearly remember the times they had a bad experience that caused them a lot of pain such as losing a job, breaking up with their girlfriend, losing their dog, doing bad business, abandonment or when a police officer humiliated them.
Nevertheless, we must train our minds to think more about the victories than the defeats; we need to constantly remember the good things God has done with us, the times He intervened and helped us in a situation, the day we graduated, the fact that we have a biological or spiritual family, the good friends we have at church, the beautiful services we have every Sunday in our beautiful temple and much more.
Remember all the good things in your life and celebrate, then celebrate some more, and end by celebrating again. Live with a grateful heart, with a positive mind and with your eyes fixed on God. There will always be injustices, problems, difficult circumstances, catastrophes that we have no control over and difficult people; however, we choose whether to close ourselves in our own pain or open up even more in order to learn from our mistakes and celebrate the opportunities we are granted to grow.
Take a few minutes every morning before doing anything else and begin to thank God for all the good things you can possibly think of. After you do this, your brain will help you feel a whole lot better and you’ll have a better day.
Think about it:
What good things can you celebrate today?
What opportunity to learn is God granting you today?
