Be relevant

BE RELEVANT

“They read from the Book of the Law of God and clearly explained the meaning of what was being read, helping the people understand each passage” (Nehemiah 8:8 NLT).

Do you know how the enemy can rob the message you want to transmit? This happens when people don’t understand what you told them because you did not explain yourself in a simple, comprehensible, and relevant way.

“When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path” (Matthew 13:19 NIV).

I have heard many preachers and teachers who have a sophisticated rhetoric, I can perceive they are well prepared, but unfortunately, they are also very ineffective; they do not see good results because when they speak they’re the only ones who understand themselves, and they are irrelevant.

One of our values in Eagles CFC is practical relevance. We believe that it is indispensable to deliver each message in an understandable way to every person. The Bible will always be our foundation and we will present it in a creative way through all means possible.

When you give yourself the time to speak to someone about something important, you expect them to understand you and to hopefully apply what you told them, but if you are not relevant in the way you communicate, then it’ll be a waste of time. In Eagles CFC, we want people to apply what they hearin order to improve their quality of life at home, work, school and in society in general.

The only way the devil can rob a message is when a person “does not understand” the message, therefore, we will not allow the devil to rob the seed we have planted in the hearts of the hearers.

When you speak to others, watch your words and be simple when communicating the message of Jesus Christ. People want what you have, but in order for them to obtain it, first they need you to teach them how to get it in a practical and relevant way.

“They read from the Book of the Law of God and clearly explained the meaning of what was being read, helping the people understand each passage” (Nehemiah 8:8 NLT).

Think about it:

Do people understand youwhen you speak to them about something?
Why do you think it is important to be a relevant communicator in these times?
