Take care of your garden

TAKE CARE OF YOUR GARDEN

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of hisheartbrings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks” (Luke 6:45 NKJV).

Nobody can plant weed in a garden unless the owner allows it. Our heart and mind is a garden; whatever is in our heart determines what we speak.

If we speak negativity it is because that is what is in our heart. We need to vent all negativity because if we don’t, then we will explode in inappropriate ways.

Guard your mind and your heart. Unfortunately, most people neglect their garden. The common person lets their heart get bombarded with seeds, weeds, problems, and lies.

Your heart’s health does not only benefit you, but also the world. Emotional exhaustion or emotional contamination can cause tragedies. For example, I don’t know why someone would want to kill hundreds of people with an automatic fire weapon in LasVegas, and then take their own life. When we are emotionally exhausted, we can explodein horrifying ways.

Many say, “I would never do such a thing” but we should never saynever, because we are all imperfect and we are all at risk of ripping our emotional bag if we fail to learn how to manage and ventilate our emotions in a healthy way.

Evaluate the condition of your garden every day by using the following Bible verses:

“But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” (Galatians 5:22-23 NLT).

Take care of your garden and allow the Holy Spirit to bear fruit in your heart that will make you a better person in this world.

“A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of hisheartbrings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks” (Luke 6:45 NKJV).

Think about it:

What weeds do you need to uproot from your heart?
What have you been speaking lately? Is it healthy?
