I WON’T GO CRAZY
There are people in life who will drive us crazy, criticizers who are demanding and unhappy, and sometimes they will be destructive. These kinds of people will cause many unnecessary problems, however,in other occasions, we are the one who drive other people crazy.
Today, I want to share a few tips on how to deal with people who drive us crazy. So, how do we deal with people who drive us crazy?
1. Refuse to be offended.
We cannot control how people react, but we can control how we will react when we confront people who drive us crazy.
It is easy to be offended each time someone pushes our buttons, but the Bible teaches us that the prudent overlook offense, they do not show immediate anger like the fools do.
2. Refuse to be part of their game.
Offense and the opportunities to be offended will always exist. I repeat, the fool reacts when they are offended, and they defend themselves; they hold onto offense and they don’t let it go.Due to this, these people fall into the enemy’s trap and they become prisoners—for years—because they are bound to an offense.
Usually, people who decide to play the game of “if you offend me, then I’ll offend you back” get distracted, they lose focus, leave their family, and lose their calling because of the trap of offense. You must refuse to be part of this game, it’s not worth it.
3. Always do what is right.
Offense is inevitable in life; however, we are responsible for guarding our hearts from unforgiveness. We do not have control over what people do or say against us, but we do have power over how we exercise the self-control God has given us.
The Bible says:
It is easy to offend those who offend us, but God exhorts us to overcome evil by doing good. I pray that the Lord makes this truth become life in you. Decide to make the difference in your family, marriage,work place, church, and always do what is right!
Think about it:
In what area of your life have you played the offense game? How can you be free from the trap the enemy has put in front of you to distract you from your purpose?
What opportunity to be offended must you reject during this time?
What is God asking you to do to save you from unnecessary problems?
