GOD AND PEOPLE
While Pastor Dinora and I were on our sabbatical, we saw how people were easily troubled by the temporary things of life. As people were rushing to start their day and get to work, we realized people have forgotten that God has given them temporary resources to advance the kingdom.
When we got to our hotel, we met a man named Tony, and he helped us take our luggage. I felt from God that he was in pain or that he had a sickness. I asked him, “Do you feel pain in your body or are you sick?”.
He replied, “Yes, you know what I do have pain on my back”. I told him, “If you give me two minutes, I can fix it for you”. “Are you a chiropractor?”—he asked. “Something like that, just take a seat”, I said.
I began praying for him and—to God be the glory and honor— his legs became even, and the pain disappeared. Tony was so surprised that he began sweating and he his face turned red. During the time that Pastor Dinora and I stayed at the hotel, we did not see him again.
However, the exact day we were leaving to catch our next flight, right when I was putting my foot in the taxi to close the door, I heard a voice from afar calling my name, guess who it was. Tony.
He told me, “Do you think you can help me pray for my sister? She had a complication with her pregnancy and now she’s in coma at the hospital”. When I heard what Tony had asked me for, my heart was filled with compassion.
I felt God breathe into me when He gave me the chance to pray for a miracle in Tony’s sister’s life. You know why? Because I know that I know that I know that this is what God called me to do. Dinora and I are Fisher of men, and every time we have the opportunity to bless someone, we do it with joy and great satisfaction.
The moment that Tony asked me to pray for his sister, I gladly helped him prayer for her before leaving to the airport. I am telling you this testimony so that you remember that everything we do in life is about God and people. That is what we live for!
Think about it:
Who can you bless today?
Who can you pray for today?
Who can you invite to your House of Peace this week?
