Tell them to march

TELL THEM TO MARCH

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving” (Exodus 14:15).

There is a time to cry out, but there is also a time to take action.
The people of Israel were in grave danger, they had in front of them the sea and behind them the Egyptian army who wanted to kill them. There was no way out, if they faced the army they would be massacred, and if they went forward, they would drown. There was no way that 2 million people could swim in an orderly matter with children, animals, and personal items. What to do in a situation like this? Only a miracle could save them. When they cried out to God, he responded with a clear instruction: March forward!

“Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving” (Exodus 14:15 RV60).

What to do in that impossible situation your facing? March in faith. Trust in God, in his word, in his prophets and he will open the sea if necessary. Walk in faith and do what God tells you to do.

“Terror and dread fall upon them. The power of your arm makes them lifeless as stone until your people pass by, O Lord until the people you purchased pass by” (Exodus 15:16 NLT).

Think about it:

What difficult situation are you going through that seems to have no solution? What miracle do you need God to do in your life? Will you walk by faith in the middle of that circumstance, believing Gods promises?
