STOP COMPLAINING
Our attitude determines good or bad results in any situation. The disciples were in front of Jesus, the doer of miracles, but their negative mentality was stopping them from receiving the benefits of being with Christ himself.
That’s why Jesus said: «Stop Complaining »
The complaining and negative people will miss the good things that can be taken from the circumstances that are happening, while others take advantage of the same circumstance.
Someone said: “If life gives you lemons, make lemonade”. Don’t take a bath in the tub filled with lemon juice because you will come out with a scrunched-up face and bitter, instead make lemonade.
While the complainers lament because all they have are just a lot of lemons, those with an optimistic attitude use the lemons to make lemonade andsellthem, and then buy meat, salsa, tortillas and some jalapeños.
Those with a negative attitude complain because the Bible says to congregate, serve, offer, pray, and sing. Those of positive attitude, instead of complaining, give thanks for having a church, a group of friends in their house of peace, they are grateful for the opportunity to serve, offer, prayandpraise singing with a loud voice.
Don’t complain. Don’t lament. Don’t make excuses. Give thanks to God in all. Believe. Live seeing by faith. Find something good in your circumstance and let God make it work for good. (Rom. 8:18 and Rom. 8:28)
Think about it:
What has your attitude been lately? Complaining or gratitude?
What good things do you see in the middle of your circumstance?
What opportunities have you lost by having a bad attitude? What benefits have you received by having a good attitude?
