GOD DESPISES NO ONE
“God is mighty, but he does not despise anyone! … (Job 36: 5 NLT)
The fear of being known makes us distrustful and we distance ourselves from others.
You might try to cover up your insecurities by presenting an image that you have everything. You have the right clothes, you have the right electronics, you have the perfect hair, you drive the right car, you say the right things, you use the right words. But, don’t fear. Remember that God does not despise anyone.
One of your deepest needs is to be loved. But one of your deepest fears is the fear of being seen for what you really are, or the fear of being rejected.
If you don’t feel loved by God, you certainly will not offer love to anyone else. If you don’t feel loved, you will not be loving. It is impossible to be loving if you do not feel loved.
“Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. ” (1 John 4:18 NLT)
“God is mighty, but he does not despise anyone! … (Job 36: 5 NLT)
Think about it:
What are you hiding from because of fear? What are you pretending is not a problem in your life? Why should you fear being yourself? Remember, God despises no one.
