DEPENDS ON WHO YOUR LEARN FROM
“Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth!
Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.” (Psalms 86:11 NLT).
The way my life turns out depends on who I learn from. I can be successful or be a failure, depending on whom I learn from.
That is why the psalmist told God to teach him his ways. Now I ask God to teach me how to live, to clarify the purpose for which he brought me into this world, to reveal to me the correct ways to achieve all that for which I was brought into this world, to fulfill his plans of good in me.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 NLT)
These plans are not fulfilled living by false and temporary things, they are achieved only with the truth. That is why I ask God to teach me to live according to his truth.
Lord, I want to do your will and I need you to show me your ways.
“Teach me your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to your truth!
Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor you.” (Psalms 86:11 NLT)
Think about it:
Who are you learning from? Who are you going to for advice when you don’t know what to do? How long has it been since you’ve read the Word of God? How long has it been since you’ve spoken to God in prayer?
