I GIVE THANKS FOR THE PEOPLE
It makes me happy to see that people remain firm in faith.
“¡How we thank God for you! Because of you we have great joy as we enter God’s presence”. (1 Thessalonians 3:9 NLT).
It motivates me to see that people remain firm even in the middle of a difficult circumstance.
“So we have been greatly encouraged in the midst of our troubles and suffering, dear brothers and sisters, because you have remained strong in your faith. 8 It gives us new life to know that you are standing firm in the Lord” (1 Thessalonians 3:7-8 NLT).
My work hasn’t been in vain
“You yourselves know, dear brothers and sisters, that our visit to you was not a failure”. (1 Thessalonians 2:1 NLT).
Our “visit” to this city of Las Vegas has not been a failure. We have seen the restoration of thousands of families. We have helped adults and youth find salvation in Christ and their purpose in life. We have seen innumerable miracles of healing in bodies. Etc.
Think about it:
What did God do in your life for which you must always remain firm in your Faith? Have you seen the hand of God in the midst of difficult circumstances? What things do you have to thank God for your church?
