AFTER LOT DEPARTED
The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.” (Genesis 13:14-15 NIV)
Lot could represent toxic relationships, uncomfortable situations, toxic businesses, or tastes that we have, but that harm our emotional or physical health. On occasion, we have things or people in our lives that are preventing the blessings of God from coming. It may be that your health or your success does not come until you separate the “Lots” from your path. For example, that boyfriend or girlfriend who makes fun of your dreams and doesn’t let you serve God, finish your university, or start your own business.
Abraham began receiving great blessings when he finally parted from his nephew Lot and aligned his life to the instructions and promises God gave him.
Part from all that which prevents you from raising your eyes, so you can finally see what God has for your life.

What friendships are negatively influencing your life? What people or things are preventing you from giving yourself completely to God?
Have you felt that your blessings are stuck? What do you think is keeping them detained?
