WHERE ARE THE REST?
Jesus healed a group of ten lepers, but not all of them came back to thank Him. Only one did. Jesus asked, “Where are all those who one day asked me to help them heal their marriage? I healed them, but where are they? Where are those that one day asked me for a child, or a parent or sibling, but now I ask them to serve me and they don’t do it. Where are they? Where are the grateful? Where are the rest?
We learn three things from this story?
1.- Many people ask for help.. The necessity is great. There are still thousands of people who need everything that you and I have. There are still youth and children with leprosy, people with necessities, children who are being abused by adults. Thera are many who ask God for help.
2.- God answers many of our petitions. How many of us has God answered a petition for? How many of us has God responded to more than one petition to? God always answers. I can cry out to Him and He will respond, which is what Jeremiah 33:3 says.
God still answers our petitions, and even if he hasn’t answered yours, wait for it and give him thanks in advance, because the response is on its way.
3.- Only few are truly grateful. Where are they? Jesus asks, “Where are all those whose prayers I answered when they asked me for help with a legal problem, and I resolved it in their favor against all logic? Where are they? Let’s live with an attitude of gratitude so that we don’t forget that although we may have many needs, we also have many answered prayers from God.
Think about it:
What has God done in your life?
How many times has God answered your prayers?
In what way can you thank God for having answered you?
