THOSE WHO ARE HONEST WILL SEE HIS FACE
(Psalm 11:7 NLT).
La gente justa puede ser tildada de tonta. It is so difficult to be honest people in such a corrupt society! Honest people are tested every day.
Our integrity will be tested many times. Will we be the same both in private and in public? Will we speak profanely and vulgar when we are not in church, or will we be upright and act the same in church, work and university? Are we the same when we are under pressure, or do we give in and transform in the face of rage or fear? Do we face temptations of sex and money every day? Does it Benefit us to be upright in a corrupt world?
What does “those who are honest will see his face” mean?
I am convinced that the expression “those who are honest will see his face” does not refer solely to us seeing him face to face when we die and go to heaven.
1. “They will see his face” signifies receiving his blessing.
I believe God does not let the just, honest person be embarrassed, rather He will bless them on this Earth. The honest person can enjoy his blessings and prosperity with peace in his heart because he is not the fruit of evil or deceit.
2. “They will see his face” means having his protection. But you, O Lord, are a shield around me;
you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.
3. “They will see his face” means peace. Walking in peace at work, at school, on the street. There will be no insomnia and will sleep in peace.
For the righteous Lord loves justice.The virtuous will see his face. (Psalm 11:7 NLT).
Think about it:
How has your integrity been challenged lately?
How do you act under pressure?
What has been a challenge for you in maintaining integrity?
