WE SHOULD BE INTENTIONAL
PART 2
I intend, therefore, to build a temple for the Name of the Lord my God, as the Lord told my father David, when he said, ‘Your son whom I will put on the throne in your place will build the temple for my Name. (1 Kings 5:5 NIV)
We should be defined in living intentionally if we want to achieve important projects in our lives.
What has God entrusted you with in your life? What project had you been postponing?
Three things that will help us live intentionally and reach our goals:
- Live intentionally. When you wake up, don’t make the mistake of first checking your e-mails and texts. First, take time to talk to God, then answer the following questions: What are the most important projects you must do today? What key people do you need to contact that day? What is the order of priorities for the day?
- Organize your agenda. People who live intentionally work organized and orderly with their agenda. They don’t leave things to chance. Disorder always brings waste of time, energy, strength, and resources.
Passion. No big project can be achieved without passion. Indifferent people don’t make great scientific discoveries, raise up transcendental ministries, achieve successful marriages for many years, etc. Students with no passion don’t finish school, businesspeople can’t lift up a successful business, and Olympic records cannot be broken. Indifferent people cannot be sports champions. Without passion, the purpose of God cannot be fulfilled in your life.
I intend, therefore, to build a temple for the Name of the Lord my God, as the Lord told my father David… (1 Kings 5:5 NIV)
Think about it:
What are the most important projects you need to work on?
Do you have an order of priorities of things you need to do and use an agenda?
What impassions you?
