God will not do it if you do not believe and act

GOD WILL NOT DO IT IF YOU DO NOT BELIEVE AND ACT

Unless your faith is firm,
I cannot make you stand firm. (Isaiah 7:9 NLT)

There is a common misunderstanding between people of little faith and lazy people. They believe God will do everything for them.

These individuals live in a fantasy where, because God is all-powerful, they don’t need to put in any effort or have faith. They think God will manipulate His will and force them to do something, even if they don’t choose to put in their own effort.

For example, someone can think that they do not need to work hard at learning English because God is all-powerful, and one day they will miraculously wake up speaking, writing, and reading English in a supernatural way.

The truth is that, if I don’t believe I can learn to speak English, then I won’t even if God believes I can.

If I don’t believe (or don’t want to) learn to drive or work technology, then I limit God and He won’t force me to learn something I don’t want to or don’t believe I can.

You need to have faith that you can be a good student, a successful businessperson, excellent pastor, good husband, etc.
The truth is that we need to believe what God believes and align our faith with God’s so that we can base our actions off of that.

Unless your faith is firm,
I cannot make you stand firm. (Isaiah 7:9 NLT)

Think about it:

What do you need to have faith in and act?
Is your faith aligned with what God says in His Word? What is your part regarding what you’re waiting for on behalf of God?
