The true riches

THE TRUE RICHES

“Teacher, look at these magnificent buildings! Look at the impressive stones in the walls.” Jesus replied, “Yes, look at these great buildings. But they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!” (Mark 13:1-2 NLT)

All material things are temporary. There are only two eternal things on this earth: God and people.

We sometimes tend to value material riches such as for example, money, cars, homes, fame, and power. But, none of this represents true riches.
It’s not bad to have material goods, a comfortable house and leave monetary inheritance to your children. This is part of God’s blessings. This is part of the riches, but they are not the true riches.

There are some things that to me are true riches and cannot be bought with money.

For example, a healthy marriage, a home full of peace, laughing with my wife and daughters, having fun riding dune buggies with my wife in the dirt and then laughing at each other; true riches are good health, good friends, anointing, the supernatural power of God, miracles, and healings that happen continually in our church, etc.

These things cannot be bought with money. I have seen people who have the money, but they cannot buy these things.

We can have a big and luxurious house. We can have an expensive bed, but not have good sleep or reset.

“Teacher, look at these magnificent buildings! Look at the impressive stones in the walls.” Jesus replied, “Yes, look at these great buildings. But they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!” (Mark 13:1-2 NLT)

Think about it:

What is more important to you, having a house or a home?
How important are material goods to you?
What are the true riches God has given you?
