The goals God blesses

THE GOALS GOD BLESSES

‘No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.’ (Philippians 3:13-14 NLT)

You can continue living adrift and waste this year 2020, but you can also act today and ask God what goals you wish to accomplish this year. If you want to have God’s blessing in your goal, consider the following:

1.- Your goals must honor God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men. (Col. 3:23 NKJV)

  • Your goals must be aligned to God. Goals like have two women, to harm someone that betrayed you, or becoming rich this year doing an illegal business, can be desires with a motivation for you, but you Will never have Gods back up, because they are not aligned with God.
  • Principles like loving God, honor our parents, not killing, not stealing, not lying, etc. Continue being a standard so that we can have success in the long run, and we can be in peace.

2.- Your goals must be aligned with the purpose of God for your life. ‘So, I run with purpose in every step. I am not just shadowboxing. ‘ (1 Co. 9:26 NLT)

  • In Eagles CFC success is, “Continually accomplish the purpose of God in my life and for my life.” Aren’t you supposed to be in expert in everything? God designed you and equipped you in a unique and different way from others so that you could accomplish with the purpose He intended for you.
  • Many times, we walk in the world doing everything, trying to imitate others, accomplish what our family or friend want us to accomplish, or we even place goals for ourselves just for the satisfaction to surpass our enemies.
  • The gasoline that should fuel us to keep must be to accomplish with our purpose and be of blessing to others. To do something that is greater than us is what satisfies our being, and that is to do His will on Earth.
‘No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the … (Phil. 3:13-14 NLT).

Will continue….

Think about it:

Why do you think it is important to place goals in the beginning of the year? What are some goals you would like to accomplish? Are your goals aligned with God?
