THE MAN AND WOMAN GOD USES
God needs a man or woman who He can receive intercession from, and a daily ministerial job. What are the characteristics God needs from a man or woman so they can fulfill His purposes?
1.- They need to be available. Have priorities. God is not looking for a super intelligent person, rather someone who is available.
2.- They must be obedient. God rewards obedience. Much of the suffering people from church go through is because they find themselves fighting against God, consciously or unconsciously. Sometimes we can’t hear God because we are too busy trying to convince Him of what’s best for us, or sometimes we get too involved in praying or working for our own personal motives. This is not about us, rather God’s great purposes.
3.- They must be willing to pay the price. If we are not willing, we cannot reach God’s purpose for our lives. Salvation has been made free to us because Jesus already paid with His life. But, to be used by God, there is a price to pay. Sometimes the price can be loneliness, rejection, criticism, persecution, discouragement, emotional or physical tiredness, living in holiness, being misunderstood because we don’t act like everyone else, etc.
Think about it:
Have you been available when God has needed you or have you used excuses?
What are you fighting with God about?
Are you willing to pay the price?
What is more important, your plans or God’s plans?
