What does a person with bitterness look like? part 2

WHAT DOES A PERSON WITH BITTERNESS LOOK LIKE?
Part II

Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many. (Hebrews 12:15 NLT)

Yesterday we were sharing some of the signs to look for in order to know if there exists a root
of bitterness in our life, and today we will share three more:

1.- Poison in the mouth. Negative conversations that also have bad language. They need the
filling of God and the help of the Holy Spirit in their life.

2.- They destroy their marriages and family relationships. No one can forever support a bitter
person.

3.- They create generational cycles of failure. If parents are bitter, children will also become
bitter pushing them into gangs. If parents fail in their marriage, children often follow that same path later in life.

We must cut off those generational curses. What did your past generation leave you?  what are you leaving your future generations? We can start a new cycle of blessing, because although the devil came to steal, kill and destroy; Jesus came to give us life and life in abundance.

Perhaps you were in the cycle of bitterness but decide today to break it in the name of Jesus and start a new cycle of blessing. Build your family instead of destroying it. Leave a legacy of
blessing, not a curse to your future generations.

Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many. (Hebrews 12:15 NLT)

Think about it:

How are your conversations most of the time?
What did your past generation leave you?
What are you leaving to your future generation?
