God is trying to capture your attention

GOD IS TRYING TO CAPTURE YOUR ATTENTION

They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity (Acts 2:46 NLT)

During this time of crisis, the majority of people are asking themselves; When will my life go back to normal? Many are desperate because there are no theaters, no sports, etc. Even Christians because that is a human tendency.

But what we should be thinking is the following:

It’s time to strengthen my relationship with God”. It is time to rest in God. This pandemic will pass but we determine how long it will last, because God is trying to catch our attention.

God is not the author of evil, but when things happen, he uses them to work for good.

We must return to God. People that don’t have a relationship with God. Tell God: “Lord, help me so I can get back to work soon” “Return my finances to normal” “Take care of my health” and that’s fine, but the correct thing is, “Lord, I want to have a closer relationship with you, I think that I had been neglecting my relationship with you, I need to return to God again.”

Rather than asking when my life will return to normal, let’s spend this time strengthening our intimacy with God.

They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity (Acts 2:46 NLT)

The disciples would gather to worship, and back then people were worshipping their money, sports everything except God. God is trying to catch our attention once again.

Think about it:

Has God captured your attention during this time?
What are you doing to strengthen our relationship with God that you had not been doing?
What has God spoken to you during this time?
