FINALLY THE PEOPLE WILL SEEK GOD

Then at last the people will look to their Creator and turn their eyes to the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 17:7 NLT)

Even though this is a verse that speaks to the people of Israel, I also want to apply a principle to our present situation.

I pray that during this difficult time, people will finally seek God.

I wish that these social crises caused by the coronavirus and violence on the streets are not in vain.

I hope that these things make us finally reflect and return our hearts to Jesus Christ.

I hope that we finally take our security out of the things we had idolized, fame, power, love of money, etc. and return our eyes to God.

They will no longer look to their idols for help or worship what their own hands have made. They will never again bow down to their Asherah poles or worship at the pagan shrines they have built. (Isaí. 17:8 NTV)

That we finally return to God!

Is your heart returning to God during these times of crisis?
What idol is there, or had you had in your heart that you need to remove?
How is your spiritual life?
