Return to God during Covid

RETURN TO GOD DURING COVID

Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem, but he went out among the people, traveling the hill country…, encouraging the people to return to the Lord, the God of their ancestors. (2 Chronicles 19:4 NLT)

We live in a culture that seems to encourage people to depend less and less on God.

Prayer was eliminated from schools and in subtle ways the use of expressions that explicitly mention God in the workplace or in our government institutions is repressed. The excuse seems to be that in order not to offend atheist groups or people who find the belief that God is real, ridiculous.

Television and social media contribute to a society that parts more and more from the convictions founded on the absolute truth of the Bible.

Who will do something different during Covid-19?
Men and women like Jehoshaphat are needed, who are not ashamed of their faith in God.

For this reason, the work that Eagles CFC does through the hundreds of Houses of Peace every week is extremely valuable, going through our schools, homes and workplaces, with a message of faith and hope in God. (Even though for now it’s online)

Think about it:

What are you doing differently at this time to bring a message of faith to others?
Who are you encouraging to return to God?
Who could you invite this week to join a House of Peace and Sunday Online services?
