You can take advantage of your pain

YOU CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOUR PAIN

He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (2 Corinthias 1:4 NLT)

We can do two things with deception and pain:

  • Sink into our tears and destroy our present and future life or
  • We can take advantage of our suffering to comfort others who are going through something similar. Don’t waste your grief. Let God comfort you and then comfort others.

Who better to help someone who suffers from an alcoholic relative than someone who lived through it? Who better to help a widow than another widow? The devil wants you to stay in that permanent duel forever.

My parents separated when I was a child and I could’ve been destroyed like many people and have been troubled or an alcoholic because of that pain, but I found God. He healed my heart and I didn’t waste my pain. My wife Dinora had to leave her house very young at twelve years old to work. She had to take care of herself and defend herself, perhaps she faced many dangers and could have become bitter and spoiled her life, but she knew God. So we decided to serve God and do His will; and use our suffering to help others. My parents’ family was destroyed and that is why this ministry is called Eagles Christian Family Center and thousands of people and families have been restored and will continue to be restored until Jesus Christ comes.

Don’t waste your grief! Don’t stay in grief, get through it with God’s help. If you are going through something like this, don’t isolate yourself, because together is easier; you can’t overcome grief successfully if you’re alone.

He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (2 Corinthias 1:4 NLT)

Think about it:

What has happened to you?
How could you use it to help someone?
Why do you think it’s better to go through grief accompanied and not alone?
