CAREFUL WITH WHAT I LOOK AT IN TIMES OF PRESSURE AND STRESS PART III
The Israelites made several mistakes, the first was that they looked at the danger, the second that they panicked at seeing the danger and when they panicked the third is that:
Mistake #3 They spoke negatively. They began to complain to Moses.
Moses had instructed and inspired them to leave Egypt with demonstrations of God’s power. But he didn’t force them!
Your pastors teach you the Word, but you have the option to leave Egypt or to stay, it’s your decision to stay in the world or accept Christ in your heart. They are going to tell you not to commit adultery so that your marriage isn’t destroyed, so that you don’t lose your family and your ministry, etc. but it’s you who decides whether to obey or not.
They began to speak negatively and to speak of death and to complain to Moses. They stopped seeing the good intention of their leader who wanted to lead them to freedom and began to see their leader as an enemy. Your enemy is not your leader, not your husband, your children or parents. The enemy of our soul is Satan and he is the one who must be confronted, resisted and thrown out of our lives, and if we are going to speak; it’s to rebuke the devil, not to speak negatively against those who help us.
Think about it:
Has stress and pressure led you to speak negatively?
Do you have a leader who inspires you to be a better person?
What people has God placed in your life to help you?
