THE HOME OF SOMEONE WHO REJECTED GOD
They will say, “This was the home of a wicked person,
the place of one who rejected God.”.». (Job 18:21 NLT)
When I read this text it makes me think that there is a difference between the home of a wicked person who rejects God and that of a righteous person who serves God.
They are torn from the security of their homes and are brought down to the king of terrors. The homes of the wicked will burn down; burning sulfur rains on their houses.. (Job 18:14-15 NLT)
On the contrary, peace and harmony is noticeable in a home that places God at the center of their lives.
Marriage relationships seem to be healthier.
Children seem to be more respectful, studious, responsible, and cooperative.
Finances are blessed and that home lacks nothing.
have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. (Psalms 37:25 NKJV)
The members of this home have good values like: believing in one another, working as a team, having healthy relationships, being accountable with one another, respecting each other, valuing each other, etc.
Think about it:
What is perceived in your home?
Do you consider yourself to be a righteous person who serves the Lord or have you rejected him?
What is the greatest blessing that you have received by serving God?
