Theoretical faith vs. living faith

THEORETICAL FAITH VS. LIVING FAITH

So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. (James 2:17 NLT)

Faith without practice does not scare the devil.

You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror… (James 2:19 NLT)

Theoretical faith is paralyzed.

You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror.  How foolish! Can’t you see that faith without good deeds is useless? (James 2:19-20 NLT)

Living faith is in constant movement.

… But I say, “How can you show me your faith if you don’t have good deeds? I will show you my faith by my good deeds.” (James 2:18 NLT)

Let us put our faith in practice demonstrating we have a living faith through good actions with others. We are in the perfect time to demonstrate love and faith to many people that are going through a difficult situation, of illness, loss of work, of scarcity, etc.

So you see, faith by itself isn’t enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless. (James 2:17 NLT)

Think about it:

Have you put your faith to practice?

Do you have your faith in constant movement?

With whom could you put your faith to practice this week?
