Cutting at 99 years old

CUTTING AT 99 YEARS OLD

Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised, (Genesis 17:24 NLT)

No matter the age!

1. We will never be too old to say that we do not need to cut and clean negative things from our hearts.
It seems that we should continue to cut things in our lives even if we are very old, or after many years being Christians.
Apostle Paul said that we must constantly circumcise and cleanse our hearts.
Young and old we must circumcise and cleanse the heart.

Both Abraham and his son, Ishmael, were circumcised on that same day, (Genesis 17:26 NLT)

2. One is never too old to be used by God.
It seems like God can do great things with a person regarding their age.
Nowadays, I Imagine that if we talk to someone who is 99 years old, it would be with the purpose of making sure he rests, of bringing food, of taking care of his health, etc. An old man of that age is not expected to be productive in society.

An old man himself thinks “my productive years have passed.”
But God kept a promise and Abraham and Sarah had a boy. God used old Abraham to find a nation.
You are never too old!
The elderly people of our time are thinking only about taking care of their health, resting, etc. But it’s never too late to give birth to a dream of God and to produce the best of our lives.

Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised, (Genesis 17:24 NLT)

Think about it:

Have you taken time to frequently clean your heart?
What age are you at, what is your priority?
What dreams of God do you have to give birth to no matter how old you are?
What things that you have been putting off that you can start doing?
