DULLNESS AND INDIFFERENCE
FAITH, PERSEVERANCE, AND INHERITANCE
Let us look at the words in the following verse: “foolish, indifferent, faith, perseverance and inheritance”.
How are God’s promises inherited?
By keeping faith and perseverance. Then … you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance. (Hebrews 6:12 NLT)
What can be an obstacle to us?
Spiritual dullness and indifference. Then they will not become spiritually clumsy or indifferent. (Heb. 6:12)
Apathy and spiritual indifference make me foolish. When I do not show interest in God’s things, I am acting foolish. It is necessary, to be alert and cultivate the fire of God in my life because this well help me have a strong faith.
When I am interested in my relationship with God and his instructions:
- I am Wise
- My faith grows
- I witness greater manifestation of the power of God.
- I believe there is nothing impossible in my life with God
- My level of perseverance is greater. I do not get discouraged easily.
- This qualifies me to inherit the promises of God.
- I do not stay halfway.
- I not only have the theory, but I see the promises come true.
How?
Think about It:
Have you maintained your faith and perseverance, or have you become spiritually different?
What can you do to cultivate the fire of God in your life?
What promises can you inherit?
