Fix your eyes on what’s right

FIX YOUR EYES ON WHAT’S RIGHT
TO GET OUT OF THE CRISES
Part 1

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. (Hebrews 12:2 NLT)

How do we overcome the challenges we have as we come out of the COVID crisis?

We fix our eyes on God. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (Hebrews 12:2 NLT)

Fixing is more than just looking at something.
Fixing means placing something firm, bolted or welded, so that it does not move.
Fixing your eyes signifies focusing on something without distracting us, without moving your gaze.

It is like when a projectile has located its target, nothing diverts it, it stays focused until it hits the target.

If I cannot see anything other than Jesus, that means I will only be seeing good things through faith. In Jesus there is no fear, no depression, no covid.

To be continued….

We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. (Hebrews 12:2 NLT)

Think About It:

What crisis do you need to overcome?
Are you staring only at Jesus or trouble?
What difference would it make in your life if you looked at God instead of putting her on the problem?
