The lazy one

THE LAZY ONE

I walked by the field of a lazy person,
the vineyard of one with no common sense. (Proverbs 24:30 NLT)

No matter what project you give to a lazy person, they will never make what is given to them flourish. A lazy person doesn’t multiply, doesn’t prosper, doesn’t finish their studies, doesn’t open their own company, etc. They have good intentions but lack discipline and good common sense. They leave their projects in the middle, they give up at the first signs of difficulties, and they don’t fight for their home or their ministry. They don’t care, etc.

What happens to the lazy?

I walked by the field of a lazy person, the vineyard of one with no common sense. I saw that it was overgrown with nettles. It was covered with weeds, and its walls were broken down. (Proverbs 24:31 NLT)

Thorns grow in your home. Thorns are not pretty, they aren’t comfortable. They represent something that stifles good plants.
Thorns stifle marriages, health, ministries, finances, productive lives, etc.
Other seeds fell among thorns that grew up and choked out the tender plants…. (Mat. 13:7 NLT)

Think about it:
Are you a disciplined person who finishes what you start, or do you leave many things halfway?
Have you allowed thorns to grow in any area of your life?
What changes do you have to make so that your marriage, ministry, your health, your finances, your family, etc. don’t suffocate?
