ONE DAY I WILL BE MORE LIKE HIM
It’s nice to know that one day I will be able to wake up being more like Christ!
For now, I live in a fallen world, and I am so imperfect
For now, I do the best I can and battle with my human nature.
For now, I depend on His grace, His mercy and unconditional love.
I feel loved and accepted in Christ.
For now, it’s only a desire to see God face to face and be more like Him.
But one day my body will sleep.
I don’t fear what people call “dying”. For me, it’s saying goodbye to the temporal life and good morning to my true life.
One day I will wake up with a glorified body that is no longer subject to natural laws or weaknesses of the flesh.
One day I will feel so much satisfaction waking up in his likeness. Yaaayyyy!
As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness. (Psalms 17:15 NKJV)
Think about it:
Do you fear death?
What are your greatest battles?
What does it produce in you knowing that those of us who are in Christ will one day be more like him and will see him face to face?
