I THOUGHT I WAS THE OWNER
We have a tendency to possess without measure and to want to own many things, and that frequently gets us into trouble.
Sometimes we think that when we buy a house it’s ours, but in reality, it still belongs to the bank to whom we make the monthly payments to.
While some of us think that we are already owners when we finish paying our house after thirty years of payments to the bank and after having paid two or three times more than the original price of the property for the interest paid for three decades, you say: Finally, I am the owner!
But there is another level of seeing things. Neither you, me, or the bank are the owners.
The Bible says:
We are just stewards of all that He allows us to enjoy on this earth.
Think about it:
Do you own or manage what you have?
What has God given you to manage?
Have you been a good administrator?
