You are not obligated to fail

YOU ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO FAIL

Now there were four men with leprosy sitting at the entrance of the city gates. “Why should we sit here waiting to die?” they asked each other….(2 Kings 7:3-4 NLT)

These four men were in the middle of a crisis, they were sick with leprosy, without money, without a house, and without food. They possibly had already seen people with similar problems simply indulge in vices or depression and neglect their lives until they died. I imagine they sat down to talk and asked each other this key question: “What are we going to do? Will we react like many negative people resigned to their misfortune? ” The answer was No! They said: “We can’t stay here resigned to die. We have to do something by drawing strength from weakness”.

1.You don’t have to resign yourself to failure like the rest of the people. Have you heard comments like these? “Oh, my uncle died of illness; you will not get up from that bed; your marriage will be destroyed as it happened to mine; we were born with a bad star, give up; a tree that grows crooked no longer straightens; etc.
Remember, you are not forced to fail like the rest of the fateful, tragic, negative, and faithless people.

2. You are not forced to paralyze yourself like many people. Many individuals are paralyzed by fear and others simply resign themselves to failure and decide to do nothing to recover the dreams they once had. They stop fighting for what they love and resign themselves to living in failure.

3. You can make a difference and do things others were afraid to do. No matter what situation you are going through, I assure you that there are people who have already passed through the same place, but had different reactions: Some resigned to die, but you will find others who refused to fail, who fought for their dreams, looked for new alternatives, they ran to God and not from God, and they had faith to receive his miracle. Imitate those who dare to take risks to cross to the other side, and who seize opportunities. Don’t just sit back in self-pity. Don’t live regretting what has happened to you. Get up, dare to try that business, that ministry, that college career, etc.!

Think about it:

What situation do you need to dare to face?
What calculated risk do you need to take?
What opportunity do you have before you today that you should take advantage of before it passes you?
