TEARS ARE PART OF THE PROCESS
After experiencing pain in your life, many times you will need to cry in privacy and regain your composure in order to keep facing your daily tasks.
Tears are part of the healing process.
Joseph cried after hearing his brothers repent because of what they had done to him years ago, which of course, was necessary for his spiritual growth and maturity (Matthew 18:7).
The suffering you encounter in life will not only help you mature spiritually, but it will also shape your character. God allows you to have obstacles so that you can be refined like silver and tested like gold (Zachariah 13:9).
The Lord uses what the devil wanted to use for evil for your own good and benefit (Romans 8:28).
Finally, you are tested before the Father when you decide to forgive, because forgiveness reflects Jesus in you.
There are two types of people on earth. One of them is the person that was truly offended and the other is the person that thinks they were offended. It does not matter which person you might be, you should always forgive. If you are the person that thinks they have been treated unfairly and is easily offended, then there is an area that must be surrendered to God.
Now he turned away from them and began to weep. When he regained his composure, he spoke to them again… Genesis 42:24 NLT
Sometimes, you will need to move away from others and go pray to the Heavenly Father. Here, you can talk to him about your pain in order to come back to your public life, help others and continue to fulfill your purpose.
Think About It:
How do you deal with your pain?
In what perspective, do you see your struggles and how do you learn from them?
Is there something that has been hurting you lately? How can you recover your composure?
