Does it matter who teached me to walk?

DOES IT MATTER WHO TEACHED ME TO WALK?
Part 1

I myself taught Israel how to walk, leading him along by the hand. But he doesn’t know or even care that it was I who took care of him. (Hosea 11:3 NLT)

I taught you to walk.  “I myself taught Israel how to walk”… (Hosea 11:3 NLT)
This part tells me about the care that God has always had of us since our childhood.
We were born for God’s purpose, we are not an accident, and therefore, He has taken care of us throughout our lives waiting for us to fulfill our assignment.

Leading you along by the hand. “I myself taught…., leading him along by the hand”… (Hosea 11:3 NLT). This speaks to me of discipleship, it speaks to me of security.
He leads me by the hand in life, he won’t let me fall if I stumble (“The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again.”. Prov. 24:16).
He takes me by the hand and guides me in my spiritual life, gives me instructions in the family, in my businesses, in ministry, in my relationships, etc.

I myself taught Israel how to walk, leading him along by the hand. But he doesn’t know or even care that it was I who took care of him. (Hosea 11:3 NLT)

To be continued….

Think about it:

Have you been aware that it has been God who has cared for you since you were a child?
Did you know that God doesn’t let you go from his hand?
What do these two points mean to you?
