WE WILL LIVE AGAIN
My people will again live under my shade. They will flourish like grain and blossom like grapevines. They will be as fragrant as the wines of Lebanon. (Hosea 14:7 NLT)
The pandemic and the subsequent crisis brought a lot of pain, but we are at the end of it and there are a few things that I am sure we will see again:
- Life. “My people will again live under my shade” … Hosea 14:7
This speaks to me of having a vision again, to live with purpose.
We were not created only to exist, but to live.
But this can be accomplished only by living under the shadow of God.
- Growth… “They will flourish like grain and blossom like grapevines” … Hosea 14:7
This speaks to me about growth. It tells me that we will see spiritual, numeric, and financial growth.
Churches will grow.
Businesses will grow. New restaurants will open, new stores, new hotels, new houses, etc.
- Good fragrance. “They will be as fragrant as the wines of Lebanon. Hosea 14:7
This tells me that we no longer will have the aroma of depression, sadness, or bitterness.
We will be fragrant carrying the aroma of joy, happiness, emotion, life, etc.

Think about it:
Are you still living in the shadow of God?
Are you still living with purpose even after the pandemic?
In which area of your life have you seen growth?
What aroma are you leaving in others around you?
